Miranda Richardson, the acclaimed British actress, is known for her remarkable versatility across stage, film, and television. After training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she made an early impact in Steven Spielberg’s Empire of the Sun and went on to build career filled with critically praised roles that earned multiple Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations. She has won two Golden Globes, for Enchanted April and Fatherland, and is celebrated for her unforgettable performances, including Queen Elizabeth I in Blackadder, Rita Skeeter in the Harry Potter series, and Lady Mary Van Tassel in Sleepy Hollow. Her extensive filmography also includes Damage, The Crying Game, The Hours, and Spider. Most recently, she has appeared in Stronger, Curfew, Good Omens, and Rams. A frequent collaborator with director Mike Newell, The Bitter End will be her fourth collaboration with Mike Newell, with their first ever film credit being the critically acclaimed Dance with a Stranger.


British soprano Sophie Bevan is celebrated for her luminous tone, musical intelligence, and stylistic versatility. Equally at home in opera, concert, and recital repertoire, she has appeared with leading opera houses and orchestras worldwide. Particularly admired for her interpretations of Mozart, Strauss, and English song, she is also a committed recitalist with a deep affinity for art song and collaborative performance. 


Pianist Christopher Glynn is one of the UK’s leading song accompanists, working regularly with many of today’s foremost singers. Known for his sensitivity, scholarly insight, and expressive refinement, he is a frequent presence at major recital halls and festivals. Glynn is also Artistic Director of the Ryedale Festival and a respected broadcaster and writer on song repertoire.
